The only reason Sheen is getting so much press is because it’s what editors think people want to hear, because it’s trending. It’s a faulty algorithm; a snake eating its own tail in order to survive. Is that what ‘fame’ is now? Burning out fast? Is the loudest person in the room necessarily the one worth listening to? Are we that easily led? How long can we gawk at the car crash on the side of the road before it hits us that we are watching someone die?
